I am Anika McFarland and grew up in a small town in Northern Germany. I live now in the USA and am an American.
Painting was always one of my passions. Though I went to college for architecture and am currently in that profession, I never lost my passion for the visual arts. It is something that gives me something to look forward to, every single day. It's relaxing, fun and takes my thoughts off everyday worries.
I had some formal training in college, though I consider myself mostly self-taught. I do sell my paintings and have an Etsy shop for this.
There is rarely a day going by when I don't paint.
Thus I know through experience what does work and what doesn't.
